Rajasthan Government declare RESMA for medical services

In a recent move, Rajasthan government declared RESMA (Rajasthan Essential Services Maintenance Act) on 8th Sep 2017. Rajasthan state is witnessing constant agitation from different groups of health care workers, be it NRHM computer operators, medical officers or now lab technicians. Mostly due to these agitations, rajasthan govt. has decided to impose RESMA again in rajasthan health services for the next 3 months. Last time RESMA was imposed in 2011-2012, which also followed mass leave from medical officers.

In reaction to this, Rajasthan doctor’s union president said that all govt. medical officers are united and ready to face govt at any cost for their legible demands.
